EASY Punch Art Scalloped Christmas Wreath

Need a Last Minute card but your brain is on overload?
Or maybe you would just like to file this idea away for next time.

Sometimes we just forget about how a simple Christmas card can work just fine. Honestly, I forgot about this one myself until I came across a similar one I did several years ago. I wanted to change it up a bit by using some newer products including the sentiment from the Wonderous Wreath Polymer set as shown here...

Wondrous Wreath Photopolymer Stamp Set by Stampin' Up!

...plus I wanted to feature it on the Scalloped Tag Topper Punch using the bold white contrast. This sweet little Old Olive punched wreath is simple enough the kids can even do it.

Using a 1" Circle Punch on a large 2 1/2" square, punch and create the center of the wreath. Take that punched piece and insert it into a 1 3/4" Scallop CIrcle punch. Ta Dah! Of course it also works well in a larger size with the 1 1/4"Circle and the 2 3/8" Scallop Circle.

Decorate the wreath with 1/4" Punched Circles of Silver and Red Glimmer Paper. Take each of the circles and pick up a glue dot and they are ready to stick on the wreath.

A Sweet Red bow is sure to add the perfect touch to this petite size wreath. I used 1/8" Red Taffeta Ribbon. I love the added bonus of the white trimmed edges. ( LOVE this pretty ribbon for Valentines Day also)

Because this card has so many soft circles, it seemed fitting to add the extra circle texture. The big dry embossed LARGE POLKA DOTS did the trick.... I hope you can see them in the photo!

Thank You for joining me today with this Holiday Fun. Now go finish wrapping those presents , hanging those stocking or sharing your time with your favorite charity.    Christmas Joy to you and Yours!
