Today is the final showing of the cards I made from the
EVERYDAY OCCASIONS card kit.
Although I've had a chance to show you several of my designs, I have oodles of card and note supplies still waiting to be made. The kit has enough to make 20 cards and I have extra goodies for more.
So first is the cute little Thank You note card above. It even has a sweet little matching envelope to attach or tuck into a small gift bag. I love the white honeycomb print on this natural card stock. I just added an extra layer of the scalloped punched Calypso Coral. I love the fresh contrast it gives to the Island Indigo sentiment.
I had so much fun with this card because I found myself S T R E T C H i n g my leftovers. But first let me tell you the pieces that I didn't change....the striped card base and the note pad paper piece. I cut a strip off of a small gray striped note card for a fun dark contrast. One of my downline, Mary , had brought a selections of other sentiments. We thought it would be fun to use the Take Note one is match up with the lined note paper. It was stamped with the gray ink spot on a white punched piece included in the kit. Now for the skinny heart piece....it's the leftover from the card below.
When I pulled apart the heart from the preprinted sheet for this card, there was a small border of the print leftover. So I simple cut out the tiny border with my fine trimmers and glued it in place. The silver arrow clip, button and twine are all a part of the kit.
This card and more can be found in yesterdays post HERE
O.K. I'm still having fun with a couple of add-0ns. I just love this cute, simple and bright card. A coin envelope set the stage and some more of that gray striped from my previous card. I stamped the LOVE in gray on a tag in the kit and attached a piece of the twine. I used a leftover strip of glitter paper at the bottom of the gray stripe. My last add-on is a bright Melon Mambo Elegant Butterfly with 3 small rhinestones.
I loved using this fun kit and I hope you have enjoyed watching me
Please join me tomorrow with a Christmas card from my Sunday class
