Elegant Silver Embossed Christmas Bauble + New Kit

Make it Quick and Make it Elegant....
It's All About Embossing those Christmas stamps!

Don't get me wrong, I love coloring, But when it comes to making some elegant and Quick Christmas cards I'm all about embossing. My creative little brain looks for the perfect pairing for the elegant look. I often turn to the Fancy Foil Designer Vellum when embossing in Silver or Gold. It's a no brainer and easily creates the feel I'm looking for. Chic, shiny and elegant.

The Christmas Bauble stamp is a single stamp and comes in wood mount only. There are no sentiments with the stamp so I'm hoping that all of you stampers around the world will be able to appreciate the universal appeal of this simple and elegance ornament.

I debated about which color of card base I would use with the silver features. After trying several options I decided that I loved the clean look of the white. I really wanted to have the cluster of the red berries stand out and using the white helped to achieve that.

If you love the Silver look you may want to check out more inspiration
at the Paper Players challenge HERE

Are you ready to make your own?
1.  Use a white card base from the Cut and Ready pack of 20 or
     make your own.
2. Cut a Striped Silver Foil layer 4 1/4" x 3 1/2". Apply your adhesive
on the back to where the foil stripes are ONLY.
3. Silver emboss the Christmas Bauble image on Brushed Silver
card stock. Are you New to embossing? click here for instructions.
4. Using Paper Snips, cut around the whole image including the holly
5. Using a green Stampin'Up marker color in the leaves. I used Mossy
Meadow. It will take a little while for the ink to dry, so don't get
your fingers inky. A little touch from your embossing heat tool
will speed up the drying process.
6. Using a 1/4" Circle punch, create 3 berries with Red Glimmer Paper.
Attach with MINI glue dots or liquid glue.
7. Make a Silver 1/8" Ribbon loop for the top of the ornament.
The 10 yard spool of this very pretty ribbon is a MUST if you
like to emboss. FYI, there is gold also.
8. Pop up the whole ornament with dimensionals on the vellum layer.
9. Cut a 2 3/4" x 1" white sentiment layer.
10.Silver emboss and pop up your Christmas sentiment. I used the
SEASONED GREETINGS from the Bright and Beautiful stamp set.
