Trendy White Pumpkin for the not TOO SPOOKY

No Monsters here, but you can still evoke a touch of the Halloween feel with this simple and trendy Pumpkin look.
(featuring Holiday Invitation stamp and Motley Monster DSP)

If you have visited before you know that I Love using my Punches to create objects called Punch Art. I mean why would you want to make the investment into a punch if you can only use it one way? So today I am going to show you how to  S T R E T C H the use of the Extra Large Oval punch.

Everyone loves pumpkins and especially at this time of the year when we are thinking about Autumn and Halloween. I don't know about you but I have really enjoyed seeing the cream colored pumpkins that have appeared in the markets the last several years. I tried growing some myself but the d_ _ n gophers got them first. I guess I better try a new strategy next year because they are pricey at the store. O.k., so in my despair I figured I would just make a paper one instead, here's how......

Using Vanilla card stock punch 5 Extra large Ovals . Using Crumb Cake classic ink, sponge all the way around 1 of the ovals. It is not necessary to sponge all the way around the other 4, just 3/4 of the way will do.

The first oval will be the one you feature your moon and bats on. I used the Holiday Mini set HOLIDAY INVITATION (Photopolymer) and I used black Momento Ink on mine. I love that I could get just a touch of Halloween without going over the top.

Now it's a matter of building your pumpkin by gluing ovals behind the center  stamped oval. The BE SCARY sentiment panel is stamped on Tangerine Tango to match the striped Motley Monsters Designer Paper layer behind it.

Create leaves for the top of the pumpkin using Pear Pizzazz card stock and the Bird Builder punch. Make a Black Baker's Twine bow that has been inked with Pumpkin Pie Blendabilities marker or you can try a regular SU marker. Pop up on a Black Chalk Talk framelits panel.

At this point you could use this as a TAG to decorate a goodie bag....how cute would that be? O.K. sample coming...LOL

However since this is a card I put the tag on a panel of Woodgrain DSP which is also from the Motley Monsters DSP. Now coming the striped panel and it all is mounted on a Basic Black card base.

Now it's YOUR TURN to make your own Pumpkin. Love to see your creations, so email a picture of your finished product and I can feature on this post.
