"For All Things" Meets Moonlight Designer Paper & Washi

Today's card is about challenges....

My own personal Challenges
(note: the challenges have nothing to do with losing 10 pounds, giving up chocolate or exercising everyday)

They are however......

1. Stamping on Grid Paper (Moonlight DSP Pack),
2. Using my Washi Tape ...get it out and USE it! Come on you know you have
some that has been just waiting for the right moment.
( If you are new to this fun stuff , it's paper tape, easy to tear, place or
reposition and affordable because SU value packs them together.)
3. And joining the great color challenge at Connie and Mary.

CCMC318

To create a base for my design I decided to include all 3 colors.

1.  Basic Gray 5 1/2" x 8 1/2", score on long side at 4  1/4".
2.  Pool Party  5 1/4" x 4"
3.  Hello Honey 5" x 3 3/4"
4.  Grid Paper 4 1/2" x 3 1/4"

Now for the stamped design......
It all started with the Gray Grid paper in the Moonlight DSP Pack. It's easy to overlook because everyone just looks at the other brighter colors in the paper stack. I'm showing you a giant picture so you can see it in the bottom right hand corner.   Find it?

5.  Using Pool Party ink, stamp the watercolor washed rectangle in the For All
Things stamp set directly on the grid paper.
6.  Using Hello Honey ink stamp the leaf on the right and then stamp the
remaining ink left on the stamp on the left side.
7.  Stamp the sentiment in black ink.
8.  WASHI time.... 2 different Washi Tape Trio packs were used.
the Pool Party is from the RETRO FRESH pack
and the gray stripe from the EPIC DAY pack
I LOVE the versatility of repositioning this stuff, yeah if you don't get it on
there straight the first time, voila...just lift it off and stick it on again!
And all you have to do is tear it off, no scissors required.
