For All Things card Giveaway

I had so much fun stamping on the grid paper the other day (HERE) that I thought I would just have to try another one. Of course I wanted to use the same stamp set but in different colors. I wanted to make my sample for the last TECHNIQUE TWIST Challenge of "Outside your Color Comfort Zone".

Now ,it's not that I have a comfort zone problem, ( do hear a denial problem )? but I decided to use a color that ISN'T a usual go-to color. So my challenge color is...drum roll...........Night of Navy. Yep, don't know why, it just is.

O.k. so I start with the Night of Navy base and then think.....color wheel....opposite on the wheel is orange (pumpkin pie in this case). It will always look good with blue. Saw this great chevron Washi sitting in my box and noticed the green washi sitting there also. Now a third color of Old Olive is born. Amazingly, I am very pleased with the fresh look it created.

But today's card is about sharing it with one of you IRL (in real life). I think the sentiment says it all. I AM GRATEFUL for all of you that come and visit me here at Stamp and Stretch. All you have to do is place a comment in the comment link below and tell me your challenge color, Is it out of your Comfort Zone? U.S. ONLY .I will pick a winner at random in one week and post the winner's name here in a separate post with instructions on providing your mailing address. Click on the Comment menu below and you can leave me your color choice today! Good luck!
CONGRATULATIONS
The WINNER of this Card Give Away is Lynn Gauthier...wahoo!

  2. Your card is beautiful!!! I really love the navy stamped on it. I always have a challenge when I use the white craft ink. I love it; but, it never leaves a clean stamp for me; especially stamps with smaller details.
Thank YOU for such a GREAT blog!
    I'm kind of a silent viewer! =)

    1. Thank you so much Lynn. I love using the white and most often use it for white embossing, have you tried that?

  4. Love the card, such fresh colors. I would say Blackberry Bliss is my challenge color but sometimes it can be overpowering but beautiful.

    1. Thank You Asta, it is a rich color just like the berries themselves. Something tells me you would rather eat berries then try to create with the paper! Oh, you also might try using Wisteria Wonder with it to help tone it down.
