Blendabilities Today and EveryDAY

Blendabilities Coloring Alcohol Markers aren't just for flowers you know! These cute little lanterns were so easy to color because all you have to do is create a darker side and it's o.k. to color outside of the lines...he he!

If you look closely I used the lightest marker in the Coastal Cabana Collection and created a light highlight under the lanterns. Be sure and use the black Momento Ink Pad when using Blendabilities as it will not smear when using the alcohol based markers. You can use it for all your other cards also, just not when you want to do watercoloring.

After my image was all colored I wanted to match up the colors with one of the Designer Papers . I just happened to have a piece of this Lullaby DSP on the my crafting table from a previous project. Wow I'm scoring with colors....they are almost the same. The lanterns use Coastal Cabana, Calypso Coral and Daffodil delight. The Lullaby paper has Coastal Cabana and Hello Honey. Even though the Daffodil is a brighter yellow it goes well with the small amount of Hello Honey in the DSP.

Now for my POP of color....CALYPSO CORAL
I wouldn't have chosen this right of the bat, but you can see how it really makes the center lantern POP. I just happen to have some matching Bakers Twine. I wasn't sure at first that I would use it, but I love some kinda of texture and touchable elements.
