Pam, Mary and Terry Pick Up VAN Wednesday Morning @ 8:00.......check??

WHAT DO YOU MEAN THE VAN IS NOT HERE!!!!
Oh Nooooo, we need to be in Salt Lake tonight to pick up our convention bags.

Quick text the rest of the girls and let them know

Well, the van did arrive at the rental site and we were soon on our way to Starbucks in Loomis .

Next We pick up Sue in Rocklin who came down from the
San Juan Islands, WA to make the journey with the team....
WE LOVE YOU SUE!

We picked up the rest of my team, luggage, ice chests and all the travel essentials.
You know the kind I mean, red licorice, peanut M&M's , Sweet and Salty Popcorn and maybe an apple or two.

ALL ABOARD

SALT LAKE CITY or Bust!

The drive went smoothly with a couple, did I say couple of
bathroom stops? o.k. they were combined with Lunch of course and gas stops.

Driving took Around 9 1/2 hrs. and just in the nick of time to drop the girls at the Convention curb...no time to park, we only had 10 mins. They ran into Convention Registration to pick up their bags. I drove around the block slowly and then pulled up in front . Mary ran out to let me run in as she guarded the van. We all piled in with our bags filled with loads of stamp sets, catalog, Make N' Takes, etc.

Back at the hotel we unpacked and laid out our Convention bags like it was Halloween.....so excited to see what the next morning would be like.

I had the best time making these notepad name tags for my team. A perfect way to keep track of otherwise matching bags.

Likewise on these fun treat cans. Always great to fill your convention bag with a few essentials like granola bars, gum, peanut butter crackers, candy treats and hand sanitizer.

I just couldn't leave the gum undressed, soooo
out came the designer paper, ribbon, punches and stamps.

If you tear apart the cardboard that the gum is wrapped in you can use that as a template to cut your designer paper. I also cut a 1/4" strip to cover the bottom of the package.
Lullaby DSP, Hello Honey Ribbon, Cantaloupe, Baked Brown Sugar and white card stocks. Hello Honey Ink.

Come join us tomorrow as we join the other 4000 demonstrators at Convention 2014!
