It's not just for Christmas

Anyone recognize my big white flower?
It's not just for Christmas, I transformed the poinsettia from the
" Joyful Christmas "
stamp set into a pretty
Spring flower with white petals stamped in smokey slate.

It all started with these challenges
STS#15                PP186

I have been wanting to S T R E T C H the way you can use this flower, so I thought that white would be useful at any time. I love how it pops when mixed with the Marina Mist and the Crushed Curry. The leaf is stamped in Smokey Slate ink on Pear Pizzazz card stock. I'm kinda hooked on the polka dot paper for Spring right now and the patterned curry paper is from the Eastern Elegance DSP pack.

A 1 1/4" Circle punched in Crushed Curry and run through the Perfect Polka Dot dry embossing folder makes just the right texture for the center of my flower.

A Smokey Slate " thank you " is from the Happy Watercolor stamp set in the spring catalog.

Light green Candy Dots were peeled and stuck to the banner with ease...love this quick and easy embellishment.

And did you know the flower image is STILL AVAILABLE as part of the carry over products from the Holiday Catalog. That means you can use it all year round.
Joyful Christmas Clear-mount Stamp Set

Clear Block # 131805  Wood #131802  Digital #135269

Here's another Quick card using this same stamp set

This on is stamped in Soft Suede, a gold embossed sentiment and using the beautiful Champagne glimmer paper for a slight touch of sparkle. It look elegant on both white and vanilla card stock.

Thank You for joining me today and the journey to creativity!
