Chalkboard Banner Blast Love

Hi again, The color challenge at Create with Connie and Mary inspired me to create this chalkboard heart look. I used the banner goodies from the Sale-A-Bration catalog and the Woodgrain background from the Annual catty. I added the rustic ties giving an earthy look that even the guys might like. What do you think?

I ran the Baked Brown Sugar card base through the Woodgrain embossing folder and then dragged a white ink pad across the raised surfaces. A Large black heart was die cut using the Hearts Collection framelits. Sponge the edges of that with white ink. Using the Banner Blast stamp set (free Sale-A-Bration product option) stamp the little heart in white ink along the edges.

I then looped 2 pieces of rippled twine strings that I extracted from the 1 1/4" Burlap Ribbon. You can cut it down the middle and then pull off the strings. Make 2 little bows with separate pieces and attach later using glue dots.

Using Baked Brown Sugar, Coastal Cabana and Tangerine Tango inks , stamp the patterned banner images from the Banner Blast stamp set. Punch out the images with the coordinating punch and mount to the twine with dimensionals. Now add the final touch of the bows. What do you think?

Don't miss out getting your very own Banner Blast Collection during Sale A Bration...... just 2 of the FREE products available thru March 31st.
