I'm S T R E T C H ing the Way to use my newest
Sweetheart Treat Bags in preparation for Valentines Day.
It's all a part of this week's
FAUX TILE

Come try out the Faux Tile Challenge and
If you can through a twist in it all the better!
Here's what I did......
1. Make a Coastal Cabana card base.
2. Cut off the front half of a Sweetheart Treat Bag and cut it down to
4 5/8 x 3 3/8.
3. Silver Emboss the sentiment 3 times down the center of the paper.
4. Now offset the left hand portion of the sentiment in between the previously
center stamped sentiment. Do this on the right side of the paper.
5. Now offset the right hand portion of the sentiment in between the center
sentiment on the left side of the paper.
6. Versamark the whole paper and clear emboss with a heat gun.
7. Cut 1" off the right side of the paper and repeat on the left side.
8. Cut each of the 3 strips at 1" at each end.
9. Glue and re-essemble the strips and square on a 4 1/4" x 5 1/2" white piece
of card stock. Leave a small space of white showing in between the squares.
10.Now you can cut down the larger white outside edges to match YOUR tile
widths.
11.Glue to card base.
12. Use the cute little striped banner in the Sweetheart Treat Bag kit and place
it over a piece of Coastal Cabana card stock .Trace and cut the shape of
the striped banner making it just 1/2" longer.
13. Stamp the key image with Real Red ink on white and punch with a 1"
square. Mount it to a Real Red layer made with the Postage Punch. Pop up
with dimensionals.
14. Fold 1 of the Bakers Twine pieces included in the kit in half and tie around
the card base with a bow in the front.
Thanks for joining me today and Merry Christmas!
