TIME TO DO THE TWIST.....
Technique Twist that is
# 5 Emerging colors
I had fun twisting this week's technique by making my own paper
Ribbon using the NEW gingham wheel.
Find out what the other Design Team Members have done
And then come play along with us!
For this technique I started by sponging three colors of classic inks on
white card stock
STRAWBERRY SLUSH, COASTAL CABANA & DAFFODIL DELIGHT
For the next step I rolled the gingham wheel across my clear ink
Versamark pad and then transferred the image on top of the three.
Inked colors. Sprinkle clear embossing powder on top of the
Versamarked image and emboss with a heat gun.
Sponge or brayer black ink over the top of the three colors and
clear embossed Gingham images.
The Colors really EMERGE when you wipe the black ink off of the
Clear embossed image and reveal the bright colors below.
Trim off the black edges to create your plaid ribbon
Then roll and clip the tails to decorate the card.
Was just enjoying your lovely card creations when I came across this very unique technique ... I have the gingham wheel and will have to give this a try. This is such a clever idea!
