# 3 "Water Stamping" & Papaya Collage

Check out the cool cards the other Design Team Members have done
with WATER STAMPING
I used the Papaya Collage stamp set for my Twist. I wanted to use an image that was a solid stamp rather than a lined image. Cut your main panel with white card stock measuring 4 1/4" x 2 3/4". Heavily sponge sections of Always Artichoke, Garden Green and Pear Pizzazz. Next, you will want to create a liquid to stamp on top of the inked paper. This is where my TWIST comes in. Instead of making a water filled paper towel stamp pad. I flipped my stamp over and lightly sprayed Windex on my stamp. I then took my paper and placed it face down on the sprayed stamp. Let it sit there for a few seconds and then remove. Let dry thoroughly and then stamp another leaf image until you get your desired effect.
To add extra Dimension to my images I silver embossed the leaf for an extra layered effect. Place your finished panel on a Very Vanilla layer measuring
4 1/2" x 3 " . Use a texturing tool to fray the edges. Layer the 2 pieces onto a Always Artichoke layer measuring 4 3/4" x 3 1/4". Tie with Linen Thread and pop up all the panels on a Pear Pizzazz card base.
Silver Emboss ( instructions here ) the "hello" sentiment from the Pennant Parade stamp set and place over the top of the Linen Thread. Stamp the butterfly from the Papaya Collage set with Primrose Petal ink of vanilla card stock. Cut out and Trim close to the edges of the butterfly. Lightly sponge the outside edges and center of the butterfly with Pear ink. Bling up the body with Rhinestone Basics.
NOW it's Your Turn!
Come join the fun and try out the challenge yourself.....
NO TWISTING REQUIRED on your part,
just do the basic water stamping if you would like to.
