Going in the Right Direction....

Today I was playing with the FEEL GOOD set with the intent
of giving it to another local Stampin'Up demonstrator who
has just started chemo this week.

Carol is an amazing lady
who pretty much is a demo so that she can have great supplies
to make cards every week for the patients at Kaiser Hospital in Roseville, Ca

Unfortunately Her cancer is not operable and she already has week lungs.
She is so BRAVE starting her chemo and radiation and is rightly very scared.
She is retired and lives alone, but has children close by. I am hoping
this bright card will cheer her up as she starts her life of focusing
everyday on doctor appts., anxiety and waiting for hair loss.

You can contact me if you would like to send her a card of encouragement!

Thanks to Connie and Mary for a cute little sketch this week.
I flipped the embellishment to the opposite side.

I used Tempting Turquoise, Strawberry Slush and Crushed Curry markers to ink up the sentiment from the FEEL GOOD stamp set. Start with coloring the bottom of the sentiment first with the curry and work your way up to the top. Use the Apothecary Accents Framelits to give the sentiment a curvy feel. You can then apply that panel to a 3" die cut circle of Tempting Turquoise and trim straight. Apply a 5/8" strip of the strawberry and a Scallop trim border of white.

You can make the directional elements ( I will call them Butterfly Arrows ) using the Elegant Butterfly punch.Just place a corner of the Crushed Curry card stock into the punch as shown and use dimensionals to pop up on the strawberry strip.

1/4" punched circles and Jewel Rhinestones finish off the the arrow element.
