Butterfly Jewelry Twist
I thought it would be fun to do a little twist by making a 3-D project
and use the Elegant Butterfly Punch to make a necklace.
Here's how
Punch a butterfly out of one of those lightweight plastic
boxes that everything seems to be packaged in today.
Place it on a piece of waxed paper and apply a layer of
Crystal Effects to the whole piece.
Drop one SMALL drop of Calypso Coral re-inker on each upper wing.
Drop one small drop of white Stazon re-inker as shown above.
Use a pin, toothpick, etc. to move the colored gel in a desired pattern.
Sprinkle on Dazzling diamonds in a few areas.
Let DRY for a FEW DAYS!
When dry Apply Basic Pearls to the center of the butterfly
to define a body and at this point you can decide how you want to use it.
On a card, glue on a pin backing or do as I did and make a
short necklace. I pierced a hole in each upper wing and attached
a small jump ring.
String 30" of Calypso Coral Organdy Ribbon ( Sale-A-Bration item)
on each jump ring and knot every inch.
Attach ends together with a clasp or just tie at the neck.
Now it's time for you to try the TWIST Challenge.
See what the others Designers have done and try the Rolled Quartz technique yourself. No need for you to TWIST the Technique, twists are not required!
