Now that I have the NEW ENVELOPE LINER FRAMELITS in my hot
little hands I had to match it up with one of my favorite card styles.
I'm kinda crazy about the colors and designs in the New
EASTERN ELEGANCE Designer Paper...so on Trend!
The Gray and Crushed Curry are so on trend with what's being shown in the stores. I wanted my card to especially appeal to my 30 something family members who will be receiving this card. What a custom surprise they will have when they open the card and find a MATCHING ENVELOPE LINER using the very same paper. It's the WOW factor I want! I'm telling you these liners will do it! Yahooooo! Maybe you Don't have any Designer Paper around? Doubtful! But if not, Stampin'Up takes the guess work out of color matching. I know when I choose a designer paper it will match perfectly with the Stampin' Up card stock.
Todays card uses the Eastern Elegance colors..... Crushed Curry, Smoky Slate, & Whisper White (also has Coastal Cabana but not on this card)
I wanted to showcase the paper designs with a darker contrasting border so I choose Basic Gray card stock for the Print Tray dividing sections.
Start with a Crushed Curry card base
1. Make a Whisper White panel measuring 3 3/4" x 4 3/4"
2. Make a Basic Gray panel measuring 3 1/2"x 4 1/2"
3. Cut Eastern Elegance Designer paper
left row from top to bottom finished sizes
1" x 1 1/2"
1" x 1" Stamped Image on white cs using "Lacy and Lovely" set
(see #4 instructions, cut your piece larger and then punch to the
1x1 size)
1" x 1 1/2"
right row from top to bottom
2" x 1/2"
2" x 1 1/2"
2" x 3/4"
4. Ink up the medallion image from the Lacy and Lovely stamp set using a
Smoky Slate marker, stamp on a white card stock scrap and then punch
out with the 1" square punch. Isn't it cool that the stamp images work so
well with this Designer paper.

and Smoky Slate marker by using the brush tip side and inking up each
the letters according to the card photo.

The NEW ENVELOPE LINER FRAMELITS will be released tomorrow so I can't actually show you the product per Stampin'Up agreement policy. However you will want to know that there are 3 Framelit Dies that fit 3 of Stampin'Up's different size envelopes. They are so easy to make, just die cut with your Big Shot, apply a little Snail Adhesive and slip into your envelope...ta dah, fantastic!
