Baby Tees + "Cutest Baby Ever"
Look how cute it is and EASY TOO, just 15 Min.!
The sentiment is from the Label Love set (love this versatile set, 7 stamps)and the Baby Tees are a Jumbo wheel. Don't you think they are such a perfect match together! I really think the New In-Color ,Pistachio Pudding, is the perfect soft baby color especially with it's soft and creamy green color base. So many baby colors include a tone of brown, so Baked Brown Sugar was my "GO TO " color for this card. Mixed with the complimentary Bermuda Bay it gave the the color contrast I was looking for. And to achieve a lighter tone of the Bermuda Bay , Stampin'Up came up with the In-Color Coastal Cabana. It's the Scalloped circle and stamped sentiment above.
Cut a Whisper White panel 5 1/4" x 2 1/4". Insert the wheel into a Jumbo wheel handle. Because the length of the white panel is so short you can wheel the Baby Tees stamped impression directly over the Pistachio Pudding ink pad and the whole image will fit. Do this several times, rolling in the same direction over the ink pad to completely cover the wheel, lifting the wheel and rolling again. Now you can roll the wheel across the white card stock to have those adorable little onesies appear like magic! The soft suede layer is cut 5 1/2" x 2 1/2". The Bermuda Bay layer is cut 5 1/2" x 2 3/4".
To make the sweet little banner you will need a couple of punches and a die cut. Stamp the sentiment in Coastal Cabana on white card stock and then punch with the Artisan Label punch # 130920 it's in the new catty, (this punch is made to coordinate with the Label Love stamp set which is available in Spanish and French also). SAVE $$$$ ...the Stamp set and Punch are available in a Bundle. Layer the sentiment onto a 1 3/4" scalloped circle piece of Coastal Cabana. Note the tiny pearls in the corners of the sentiment...such a sweet touch!
I die cut the 2 flags of the banner at the same time using the Hearts a Flutter Framelits and my Big Shot machine. You will need a piece of soft suede card stock larger than the die and a 3/4" wide piece of Bermuda Bay. Place a small amount of snail adhesive between the two color layers to hold them while you run it through the Big Shot machine. CLICK HERE TO SEE the new MAGNETIC Platform in Action using Framelits. I am not sure if the magnetic platform works with 2 layers of card stock. Sticky notes will also hold your framelits to the card stock with you run them through the Big Shot. Once your two pieces are cut, simply lift off the Bermuda Bay layer and reposition to create the layered banner.
The whole sentiment ribbon is popped up with dimensionals to make it the focal point of the card. Now it's your turn. Have fun!
