That's The Ticket
Here's another fun card from my last Getting Punchy Class.
I thought the cute little buggy would look great using the
100% Perfect Precious Baby ticket....kinda looks like
a little license plate. So cute!
The colors I used include ...
Certainly Celery, Very Vanilla, So Saffron, Soft Suede and
The Striped Designer Paper is Retired Stampin'Up but you probably have
a lot of other choices in your paper crafting stash ! right?
Here's what You can Do......
1. Make a card base of Certainly Celery.
2. Cut a 4" x 3 1/2" panel of coordinating Designer Paper.
3. Cut a 3" x 3" panel of Sahara Sand.
4. Cut a Vanilla panel 2 3/4"x 2 3/4"
5. Adhere all layers together with snail adhesive.
Building the Baby Buggy
Punch a 2 3/8" Scallop Circle #118874 of So Saffron
Cut the punched scallop in half
Adhere one half over the other matching up scalloped edges
(have the overlapping line be vertical not horizonal)
Punch out 4 scallops from the corner of a piece of Soft Suede card stock
lining up the point with the center of the whole scallop circle
Cut off 2 scallops (discard the rest or make 2 cards at the same time)
Line up and adhere cut scallops over the top of Baby Buggy Base
For the wheels ,
Punch two -3/4" circles of Certainly Celery
two - 1" circle of Soft Suede
Adhere wheel layers together and use a piercing tool to create holes
for your brads.
WAIT to attach the wheels to the buggy base until the very last so that you accommodate enough space
for the sentiment layer.
Stamp the PRECIOUS BABY in Soft Suede on vanilla card stock.
That's The Ticket stamp set is in the Spring Catalog
# 128075 clear # 128072 wood
I love the versatility of this set!
Holidays, Special Occasions, and Create Your Own
And did you know there is a matching punch to easily cut it out!
Ticket Duo Builder # 126883
and last Cut a 1/4" strip of Soft Suede to make your
Baby Buggy Handle and
then Pop Up the completed buggy with Dimensionals
onto the basic layers #'s 1-5.
NOW is the time to position your wheels on the buggy base
and adhere them using pop up dimensionals.
Sooooo Cute Don't you think?
I hope you will make one soon and keep it ready in your
collection of cards To-Go.
Just think of the color combos you could come up with...
substitute the Celery for Baja Breeze or Calypso Coral...how fun!
