Today I'm S T R E T C H I N G the
stamp set
in the 2013 Sale-A-Bration catalog.....
and making a pair of OVERALLS with it!
How fun is that?
and It's EASY too!
1. Stamp the jeans TWICE in Pacific Point ink on 2 small scraps of white paper.
2. Cut out one full pair of jeans along inked design with SU Paper Snips.
You'll never go back to other scissors once you have used these!
3. On the second pair, draw in 2 shoulder straps (rectangles)with a Pacific Point
Stampin' Write Marker.
4. Cut off the legs of this pair just 1/4 below the crotch line ( this will give you
a little tab to attach under the waistband of the full pair of jeans.
5. Trim around the edges of the image including the straps.
* TIP * if you want a trimmer waistline as my example has, simply
taper the torso from the armpits down to the waist on each side....
kinda like 50 crunches a day for weeks..LOL
6. Now glue the upper part of the jeans 1/4 tab to the full pair attaching it
under the waistband.
7. Apply a couple of rhinestones where the straps meet the bib.
I kinda went CRAZY with this card but started my idea with the
It was fun using several colors from the Brights Collection...
Pacific Point, Daffodil Delight, Melon Mambo, and Regal Rose,
especially since it coordinates so well
with the patterned paper from the Spring Catalog
Use Paper snips to cut away Sections of the Honey Comb Embossing folder
