Here's Another Project from my recent Easter Stamp Camp using the
Stampin'Up single stamp " ears to you !"
I just love how this turned out in the Spring colors and how the
pastel Peanut M&M's look so perfect as little Easter Eggs.
Oh, did I mention that Peanut M&M's are my PERSONAL FAVORITE.
sooooo, that meant for every 4 packed in the bag,
one got packed in my mouth!
O.k. some of you know what I mean...
truly I can't be the only one who does that!!!
Don't you just Love those cute little butterflies, I just love having both
sizes of the Butterfly punches. I love the yellow one and how it really POPS
against the Purple color.
( Purple and Yellow are opposite on the color wheel and are
called complimentary colors, that is why they work so well together)
This fun project is also part of the FUN EASTER CHALLENGE HERE
Spot that Easter Stamp Set
2. Score on 11" side @ 4 3/4" and 6 1/4".
3. Cut white topper 4 1/4" x 2 3/4" and score in half @ 1 3/8"
4. Punch the edges of the topper with the Scallop Trim Border punch.
5. Die cut an Oval about 1" from the score line using the Oval Collection Dies.
6. Pack your M&M's in a Medium Flat Cello Bag, fold over the top and staple.
7. Insert your candy filled bag into the Wisteria Wonder cover, pull up edges,
cover with the white topper and staple topper in the middle.
( the Butterfly will cover the staple )
8. Punch a Elegant Butterfly in Daffodil Delight.
9. Stamp smaller butterflies in Tempting Turquoise and Wisteria Wonder
using the stamp set Papillion Potpourri and punch with the
Bitty Butterfly punch.
10. Pop up the butterflies using dimensionals.
11. Cut a Certainly Celery piece 3 3/4" x 1 1/2".
12. Cut a white piece 4 1/4" x 2 3/4"
13. Stamp ears to you! with Tempting Turquoise ink on the white panel.
14. Cut a small piece of window sheet or vellum paper 3 1/2"x 1 1/4". If you
don't have either one of those products, you can find a soft plastic
packaging case (seems like every product is wrapped in them these days)
and cut a small piece from a flat section.
15. Place this translucent piece over the bottom portion of your stamped
image. Lightly trace a line around the rectangle making sure your
sentiment is straight. Avoid making pencil marks on the stamped images.
16. Now Cut around the rectangle on the penciled line and also around the
bunny ears.
(TIP...try to leave a small amount of the white showing around the bunnies)
17. Attach to the celery panel and then to your bag.
