Simple and Scary Embossed Kitty


This is Project 5 of  

  "IF THE BROOM FITS FLY IT"

1. Create a Tango Tangerine card stock base.
2. Cut 2 panels of Black card stock 4" x 1 3/4", apply to base.
3. Cut 2 of three patterns of Howlstooth and Scaringbone Designer
    Series paper # 126906 measuring 1 3/4" x 1".


4. Die cut a 3" circle # 122125  out of Black card stock.
5. Dust the circle with an Embossing Buddy #103083 
    to prevent extra unwanted flecks of embossing powder
    from sticking to your circle.

6. Using a VERSAMARK  clear ink pad# 102283 
    stamp the FRIGHTENING FELINE image # 128105 
    onto the black circle.
7. Sprinkle SILVER EMBOSSING POWDER#109131 onto 
    the stamped image.The powder will stick where the ink is.
    Tap off excess powder.

8. Using a HEAT TOOL #129053 , melt th
    embossing powder till it turns shiny.

9. Make the perfect triangles for the cat ears by 
    punching out black card stock using the PETITE 
    PENNANTS BUILDER punch # 122361. Apply pieces to the 
    back side of the circle.
10.To raise the cat head up above the base layer , Place Stampin' 
     Dimensionals # 104430 on the back side of the circle  before
     applying your card base.
