It's the Witching Hour..HAT Treat Holder

Today we are going to S T R E T C H the use of the Stampin'UP PETAL CONE DIE CUT, OWL BUILDER PUNCH and LG OVAL PUNCH.

1. To create the point of the HAT Cut 2 of the main sections of the Petal Cone 
    die in Elegant Eggplant card stock.
2. To create the hat brim, Draw and cut a circle measuring 5"-5 1/2" on Elegant 
    Eggplant CS also. You can probably find a plastic circle lid or container base 
    in your drawer of whip cream containers or other food tubs.
3. Stamp the SPIDER WEBS with WHITE CRAFT ink on the 2 main sections and 
    also on your cut out circle using the WICKED COOL stamp set .

4. Assemble the cone by attaching the 2 sections together using Sticky strip 
    adhesive # 104294.
5. Making the bat......
    Using black card stock punch out main body of the  Owl Builder Punch.
    Cut off the legs on body. Punch the BLACK eye lids out of the largest circle.
    You will only need one circle , cut that in half.
6. Punch whites of eyes out of the medium circles and 1 OLD OLIVE circle
    as well. Cut old olive in half. Assemble and glue eyes in a spook manner
    with multi purpose liquid glue# 110755 and a pair of tweezers.
    The personality of your bat in all in The placement of the eyes.
7. Cutting your wings....
    Punch 3 -1/2" circles on the edge of a black piece of card stock so that you
    punch just half circles instead of the full circle. It should look like 3 scallops 
    when done.Then slide that piece of paper in the LARGE OVAL PUNCH with 
    the scallops points showing on the bottom...now punch to create the top 
    of of the bat wing. Glue wings to the back side of the body.
8. Building your pumpkin....
    Punch 3 LARGE OVALS of PUMPKIN PIE card stock.
    Stamp in BLACK  " have a wicked Halloween" on 1 oval.
   Sponge PUMPKIN PIE ink on edges of all the ovals to give depth to the 
   shape of your pumpkin when assembled. Glue 2 ovals behind sentiment oval.
    Hand cut a stem out of OLD OLIVE scraps.
9. Stamp SPOOKY in black in on OLD OLIVE card stock and free form cut 
    around sentiment.
10. FILL CONE WITH TREATS and attachment to the 5" circle with STICKY 
     ......you can also leave it empty for Decoration only.
11. Attachment decorative elements to the Witching Hour HAT with foam
     dimensionals and you're ready to display a SUPER FUN project.
