Would You Like 1 Scoop or 5 ?

We ALL SCREAM for ICE CREAM
How's this for S T R E T C H I N G the size of your ice cream cone? It was easy to do ....
1. Create your card base (see beginner basics) with Tempting Turquoise card
     stock.
2. Make a Whisper white card stock layer with TOP NOTE DIE and the BIG
    SHOT MACHINE.
3. Cut a Pink Piroutte card stock layer that is 1" x 3 3/4". Apply to white layer
and trim off around the curved areas.
4. Stamp the sentiment Wish Big in Melon Mambo ink on white card stock and
punch out with a 3/4" circle punch. Layer that on top of a Pretty in Pink and a
Crumb Cake panel that are punched out using the Small Oval Punch.
5. To make the ice cream cone use the Pennant Parade stamp set for the cone
base. Stamp Crumb Cake Ink on Crumb Cake paper and punch out using the
   Pennant Builder punch.
6. Each of the ice cream layers are made with the CUPCAKE BUILDER punch.
Card stock colors are Pool Party, Pretty in Pink and Daffodil Delight and
topped with a cherry of Melon Mambo.
7. Sparkle up your ice cream layers by squeezing liquid DAZZLING DETAILS on
    the tops.

15 Minute Card

Designer Paper in a Flash...yes just 15 minutes!

Create your card base with SUMMER STARFRUIT CARD STOCK. Make a patterned panel that measures 5 1/4" x 4" to adhere onto your base. On this card I am using the DESIGNER SERIES PAPER PATIO PARTY. On pg 165

The vertical strip design is simply a part of the striped pattern on the reverse side of the hanging lantern pattern. It is mounted to a wider strip of BAJA BREEZE CARD STOCK

The cute little heart patterned circle is on one of the other sheets of paper in the PATIO PARTY DSP pack. Simply cut it out.

Next, take 2 colors from the PATIO PARTY PAPER design and with the BOJO BLOSSOMS PUNCH create a double flower layer. I choose IN COLORS.... SUMMER STARFRUIT and PRIMROSE PETALS

Before applying the flower, lightly wrap ISLAND INDIGO BAKERS TWINE around the circle base and adhere.

Now apply a GLUE DOT to the center of the flower and spiral the bakers twine on top of the glue dot......Love that texture!

For the sentiment I choose 3 words from the LOVING THOUGHTS stamp set and stamped them in (In- Color) MIDNIGHT MUSE ink.

Now that's an EASY WAY to S T R E T C H the use of your DSP.

Girl Friend Purse

Did you ever think that you could use the PETITE DIE CUT PURSE in multiple ways? I just love these little purses. I changed it's appearance by removing the top flap and leaving an opening to stuff gift tissue inside. Notice how the tissue matches perfectly with the CALYPSO CORAL card stock, INK and RUFFLED RIBBON on the handle.

I Love the contrast of the EARLY ESPRESSO card Stock and INK with the CALYPSO CORAL purse. I used the AFFECTION COLLECTION stamp set from the HOLIDAY CATALOG to stamp my images. Using CALYPSO CORAL INK I stamped the purse body, front , back and sides. Cut off the purse flap, fold sides at crease marks and assemble sides to front with STICKY STRIP ADHESIVE.
CALYPSO CORAL INK was also used to stamp the banner image on WHITE CARD STOCK and then cut out.
Tip: Adding a 1/8" border of white showing makes it easier to cut out and not compromise your image.
Glue that to a piece of EARLY ESPRESSO card stock and trim it down to about a 1/8" border. Add a PEARL for that extra feminine touch.

Use EARLY ESPRESSO INK to stamp your "FRIEND " image on white card stock and then free hand cut it out with your PAPER SNIPS. Attach with STAMPIN DIMENSIONALS for a raised image.

Attach RUFFLED CALYPSO CORAL RIBBON to the paper handle using red STICKY STRIP ADHESIVE and then to sides of the purse.

Now for the Gift Tissue!  I used only a 8"x8" piece of white tissue and stamped the image randomly on one side of the tissue. Because the tissue is translucent the stamped image shows through.
TIP: place a piece of computer paper under your tissue before stamping.
Do not stamp sentiments unless you want to read them backwards
because the image will show through.

Enjoy making your own!

Blossom Punch and In Colors

If one layer of the BLOSSOM PUNCH is beautiful than 3 layers makes it gorgeous! The Blossom punch has even more impact when you layer it with multiple colors like I did here. The base layer of the flower is ISLAND INDIGO card stock just like the card base. The printed layer is using the MIXED BUNCH stamp set and ISLAND INDIGO INK. The third layer is PUMPKIN PIE INK . Layer 3 is stamped, punched and then each of the 6 petals is cut apart and glued  back together overlapping at the center while reducing the size of the flower so that it is smaller than the previous layer.
The EARLY ESPRESSO  center layer is punched  with the BOHO BLOSSOMS PUNCH.  The center of the flower is stamped in SUMMER STARFRUIT INK with the MIXED BUNCH stamp set and punched out with a 3/4" CIRCLE PUNCH. A 1/2 wide stem in PUMPKIN PIE card stock completes the flower.  The matching ribbon creates the illusion of leaves by tying all 3 ribbons together in a knot. 3/8" STITCHED SUMMER STARFRUIT, 3/8" ISLAND INDIGO RUFFLED RIBBON, 1/4" STITCHED EARLY ESPRESSO GROSGRAIN RIBBON.
The sentiment panel is made using EARLY ESPRESSO paper and the DECORATIVE LABEL PUNCH. A rectangle of SUMMER STARFRUIT is cut 1x 1 3/4. An ISLAND INDIGO 3/4" CIRCLE PUNCH for the center and the ever popular sentiment KINDNESS MATTERS from the stamp set of the same name. It is stamped in ISLAND INDIGO INK and punched with the WORD WINDOW.

Baby Gift Tag

I'm having fun with the stamping wheel BABY TEES. I've created a gift tag with just one image from the wheel. It's a great way to STRETCH the use of a wheel you might otherwise roll across your whole page.
The image was rolled on a black stazon ink pad , transferred to smooth white card stock and then colored with a celery classic ink pad using a blender pen and picking up ink off the pad. When finished coloring ,Cut out your baby tee. ( TIP..... I usually cut just outside the stamped image leaving just a small white edge because you will never be able to cut exactly on the line . )The banner was stamped in Chocolate Chip ink with the ITTY BITTY BANNERS stamp set and cut out with the ITTY BITTY BANNERS framelits die. Color in your star and hanger with the Chocolate ink pad and your Blender pen. I love how the BAKERS TWINE matches it perfectly. Add some DAZZLING DETAILS for an adorable touch of sparkle.

Make several at one time and place in a 4 x 6 cello bag and tie the top with your Bakers Twine. What a great gift...good for baby boys or girls!

Vintage Typewriter

I love the VINTAGE feel of this striking card. Capture a VINTAGE FEEL when you use  textures. The STRIPES embossing folder, the LINEN THREAD and the speckled spray create the added texture for the vintage look. Create depth on your edges by sponging with a light ink. I used CRUMB CAKE INK to match the striped CRUMB CAKE layer.
The sentiment panel was stamped using three different sentiments from the LOVING THOUGHTS stamp set. All images were stamped in MIDNIGHT MUSE classic ink. A partially stamped image works fine and adds to the distressed feel. Use a MIDNIGHT MUSE marker combined with the
COLOR SPRITZER TOOL to create the vintage speckled look.

Nature Walk Oval Windows

STRETCH the use of your NATURE WALK STAMP SET

Using the Soft Suede Ink pad only gave my images a unified look without the added coloring in time. Simply stamp your images on vanilla card stock,  punch with the Extra Large Oval and use a lighter ink, like Crumb Cake to sponge your edges. I suggest using Stampin' dimensionals to pop up your images to give it that WOW factor.

Suede card base  5 1/2 x 8 1/2,  to create this fold score @ 1 1/2 and 5 1/2
Summer Star Fruit panel 5 x 3 1/2
Midnight Muse panel 2 x 4 3/4

Loving Thoughts stamp set, Midnight Muse classic ink pad, Bitty Banners Framelits,  BIG SHOT machine and Linen Thread
